Product UI Animation + Social Ad

Dropbox rolled out five new features and asked BIEN to create a set of animations that highlighted these updates both in-product and on social. Alongside feature-specific animations, we also developed a hero animation to showcase the launch in a bold, shareable way.

My Role: I served as Art Director while also designing and animating across several of the product UI features. I created storyboards, resized and restructured full product UIs into streamlined frames, and animated interactions to clearly demonstrate functionality. Beyond execution, I oversaw another designer and guided three freelance animators to ensure consistency with Dropbox’s extensive brand and motion guidelines. I also art directed the hero animation, coordinated daily tasks with our producer, and developed AE templates to keep comps and deliverables organized.

This project gave me the opportunity to combine hands-on animation with leadership — balancing execution and oversight to deliver a large set of assets across multiple formats and aspect ratios, including Lottie, MOV, MP4, PNG, and GIF.
