Egyptian Book of the Dead
This was such a pleasure to work on! We created an animation that portrayed the mummy wrapping ritual for the Getty Museum’s Egyptian exhibition. Using our main character, Petosiris, we showed the Egyptian burial process and their beliefs about the afterlife. The animation was viewable in the exhibit on a 22" screen and we used Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs as color palette and style reference.
Although this video plays through uninterrupted, when interacting with the display in the exhibit, the viewer can progress through the story at their own speed as the story pauses at prescribed intervals.
